Four Wheel Drive, Differential Locks, PTO - All Automated

There’s no need to specify a headland turn package to simplify your work load. Engage the auto function for these tasks and forget them. As you turn at the headland a steering angle sensor takes care of the 4WD and differential locks (fully locking front and rear), while an adjustable Auto PTO system disengages and re-engages the PTO as the rear linkage is raised and lowered. All very simple.

Should you wish to automate the gear shifting and throttle setting then the optional Headland Turn Sequencer can take care of these.

Fuel Sipping, Not Slurping

T6040 Elite tractor is powered by a highly efficient four-valve engine. Common Rail direct fuel injection and dynamic flow mapping of intake air and exhaust gasses helps ensure every drop of fuel is turned into productive energy.The test results highlight just how efficient the T6040 is at converting fuel in to horsepower. Another fact that will reduce your running costs is that the T6040 engine has the industry’s longest service interval at 600 hours, that’s 20% longer than its rivals.

Power:Weight Ratio

Combine a high power level with a light compact tractor design and you’ll automatically get a fantastic power:weight ratio, that’s exactly what the T6040 gives to you. Each New Holland horsepower has to move less weight than it’s rivals, benefitting your field and road haulage performance. Taking the test tractor weight and dividing it by the maximum measured power gets us the power:weight ratio.

Auto Field and Road Modes

Simply press the Auto switch to activate the transmission’s auto shift functions. Up to 9 ratios can be automated for road haulage while the shifting for field work can be tailored to suit PTO work or draft work at the flick of a switch.

Engine Power Management (EPM)

For mobile PTO applications and haulage tasks the T6040 will raise its power by as much as 23hp above the standard rated engine power. This increase in power is controlled to provide more fuel only when required, so it only uses the fuel it has to and no more. EPM allows the T6040 to punch well above its weight. The T6040 Elite’s Engine Speed Management can also be employed to enhance engine responsiveness.

Standard with Cab Suspension

Comfort Ride™ cab suspension is fitted to the T6040 Elite. Cab suspension has the largest influence over your comfort level, reducing whole body vibration levels significantly. For enhanced comfort, Terraglide™ front axle suspension can be specified and on 50 kph units this also incorporates front hub brakes.

351° of Clear Vision

With just four pillars in the cab only 9° of vision are obscured from your all round view. Add to this a high visibility panel and you really won’t miss out on anything that’s happening in the outside world.
